A speaker plays sound that enters the opening at left side of the tube and a microphone listens to sound coming out of right side. Start the sound and use the slider to choose the frequency of sound you are feeding into the tube. The sound you hear playing is telling you what the microphone is picking up. Listen for which frequencies produce the loudest sounds indicating standing wave resonance modes.
